Song: We Got Your 6 (Pre-Release)
From the very first notes, "We Got Your 6" establishes a tone of solemnity, as if reflecting the gravity of the subject matter it confronts. The introductory piano progressions, expressive guitar work, and inspired national anthem nods serve as a strong precursor to what soon follows and help to establish the song's sense of identity particularly well. The track's title itself is a military term used to convey the assurance of support, but in this context, it takes on a double meaning, emphasizing a collective commitment to ending the cycle of violence and a sincere token of solidarity alongside those deeply affected.
"We Got Your 6" is an electrifying hip-hop-infused rocker that seamlessly blends the free-spirited nature of rock with the grittier, raw-edged lyrical prowess of hip-hop, creating a musical experience that is as empowering as it is invigorating. It's a remarkable anti-war tune that tackles the sensitive subject of warfare and its consequences, namely the devastating and long-lasting effects it can have on veterans. The track serves as a poignant and powerful musical statement that blends the rebellious spirit of rock with the lyrical depth of hip-hop, delivering not only a message of protest but also one of unity.
Lyrically, "We Got Your 6" is a protest song that shines a spotlight on the devastating consequences of war, both on the battlefield and at home. The verses are laden with vivid imagery and profound metaphors, highlighting the pain, sacrifice, and loss experienced by those affected by conflict. The chorus is a collective vow of support, a pledge to stand by those who have been affected, and a promise that they will not be forgotten.
"We Got Your 6" is more than a song; it's a call to action. It's a protest against the violence and destruction of war and a declaration of support for those affected by it. This track has the potential to become an anthem for peace and an anti-war movement. It speaks to the collective responsibility to stand against conflict, to support those who suffer its consequences, and to demand change. It's a powerful social commentary, an emotional outcry, and a testament to the role of music as a force for change in the world.
The Bootleggers Music Group have never been ones to shy away from tackling a number of sensitive matters and often do so whilst exploring many diverse sounds and styles, thankfully "We Got Your 6" is no different and offers listeners a profoundly potent listening experience that's steeped sincerity and possesses the simple honest desire to bring people together. Filled with memorable hooks, captivating performances, and an undeniable sense of spirit, "We Got Your 6" is a track that moves, enthralls, and inspires.

Greetings from The Bootleggers Music Group and thank you for taking a moment to review the below information regarding our efforts to help Easterseals Redwood (Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky) who serve our area’s at risk and homeless Veterans.
“We Got Your 6”, which in military terms means, “We Got Your Back”. We feel that this track, which is directed at our nation’s military, communicates LOUD and CLEAR, that we support them, and we are here for those who are in need.
The homeless population in America of military veterans is staggering. Current reports place the number of homeless veterans at 67,495, which is over 10% of the nation’s homeless population. The suicide rate among our warriors has increased at alarming rates with estimates now ranging between 22-44 per day. (NOTE: VA Estimates put the numbers at 22 per day, however, the reporting goes drastically unreported)
Why Easter Seals Redwood? The efforts of Easterseals Redwood to help our homeless veterans is nothing less than effective and amazing! Through their efforts of providing emergency assistance they are preventing these men and women from living on the streets. In addition to the emergency services, they also have a recruiting arm dedicated to full job placement which furthers the effort to ensure the success of those who have fallen victim to hard times after serving our country. This is why The Bootleggers Music Group has decided to earmark all the funds from the “Got Your 6” program and track to Easterseals Redwood.
